WEEE Recycling

Signify are proud founding members of Recolight Ltd, the UK’s leading Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recycling scheme for the lighting industry. Through Recolight, we offer a free of charge recycling service for waste lamps and luminaires^*. While many other WEEE schemes will expect you to take responsibility for delivering waste to a nominated recycling facility, it is important to note that Recolight’s service includes free containers and free collection from your sites.

Recolight provide skips for luminaires, containers for lamps and batteries^**, along with all the relevant consignment notes giving you an auditable trail. All waste collected by Recolight is recycled within the UK, at Approved Authorised Treatment Facilities.

For multi-site luminaire roll outs, Recolight can attend your project start-up meeting with your nominated contractor to help alignment with project schedules.
